Three glasses, one table, and the Cinque Terre in front of you. This is a relaxed wine tasting in the heart of Monterosso, the kind locals actually do at the end of the day.

Your host pours three Cinque Terre wines, a white, a rosé and a red, and walks you through what makes each one taste the way it does: the terraced vineyards clinging to the hillside, the sea air, the stubborn traditions that shape wine here. No lecture, no sommelier formality, just good wine explained by someone who drinks it.

Each wine comes with small local bites chosen to bring out its character, focaccia, fresh pesto, a few simple Ligurian flavours. Enough to taste, not a full meal.

After the Cinque Terre selection, the tasting turns to you. Depending on what you enjoy, your host might open a Vermentino from Colli di Luni, a Tuscan red, a Valpolicella or another Italian label, shaping the last part of the experience around your own taste.

You leave knowing what you like, why you like it, and which bottles to look for during the rest of your stay.
